Ray Hall Roofing is one of the best contractors I've used in the 25+ years of renovating old homes! They are very reasonably priced, extremely courteous and go the extra mile. I had them put a new roof on my house a few summer's ago. While they were working on my place, we noticed the neighbor was leaving her dogs outside for days at a time with no fresh water or food on some of the hottest days of the year. I was only there on the weekends and could try to keep their dog food bowls full, but had to go out of town during the week for work. The roofing crew took over bringing dog food and filling the water bowls every day until the neighbor came home. They spoke with the neighbor and offered to adopt one of the dogs, but the neighbor finally sold the dogs. That winter, part of the roof which has a shed dormer that's almost flat started leaking. They used rubber membrane and shingles on this section but that winter I had so much ice damming it went beyond the normal depth that's the industry standard for rubber membrane on that pitch of the roof, and started leaking. While there wasn't much they could do until spring when the weather got warmer, they tarped off the area to reduce the damage, came over after every snow storm and shovelled off the roof, to reduce the damage as much as possible. The first warm week in spring they were out there replacing the roof with a flat roof membrane, and even repaired the plaster damage to the interior ceiling, all at no extra cost! Now that's service! Recently we remodeled a side porch and decided to extend it by 1 foot, requiring a small amount of rubber membrane for the new roof area. Buying a whole roll at the home improvement store for such a small piece was cost prohibitive, so I called Ray to see if I could purchase a small piece from his stock. He agreed to supply it, and told me not to worry about the cost. How cool is that?!
